Mirror Uni Patrol Escort for Romulans?

I was really looking forward to hitting level 40 with my rom to use a mirror universe escort i had, but it states i dont meet the requirements when i click the inventory item. Is this because I'm not a 'true' Fed?

    Basically yes. Roms can only use romulan endgame ships no matter which faction they ally themselves with.
    You could try one of the romulan mirror ships from the exchange otherwise you'll have to use one of the free romulan ships from the shipyard

    Every Admiral rank falls under T5.

    T5 ships cannot be used by Romulan Republic characters.

    I have one on one of my Feds and I enjoy it, but as a Rommie, you are MUCH better with the Assault Warbird... If you are interested in the different BOFF slots I believe there isa mirror version found in Dominion Boxes.
