Why is there a numerical error in Reputation?

According to the menu, this is the progression for Nukara Reputation:

6000 16000 32500 60000 100000

Why is that one in the middle different?

What possible reason would there be to make it out of sync with the formula?

If you just do the 2k missions daily, why would they say, oops, you don't have 500 extra points, do another 2k mission and come back tomorrow for your rank up.

You get all T3 reps at 32,500. Maybe if you always do both the 2000 and 800 XP projects together, it comes out at that?

Different =/= Wrong (except in Japan where Chigau means both at once).

For starters, why are you only doing the 2000 project and not the 800 one also?

7. 17,000 -> tier 2 unlocked
8. 19,800
9. 22,600
10. 27,400
11. 30,200

Right here. If you only do the 2000 on day 11, you don't unlock tier 3. Do both and it's yours.

Meanwhile you're a week ahead of the person only doing the 2,000 each day and never doing the 800 at all.

As to why I'm not doing the 800 projects:

Because I'd have to collect the Nukara marks to do those assignments as well.

Plus, I really hate those reputation projects that consume your hypos and shield charges randomly from your slotted inventory and not from your backpack or bank.

Everytime I did one for the other reputation systems, I had to put the item back in my slotted inventory and then put the device back in my system tray.

After about the 3rd or 4th time of doing this (8 if we count both characters), I said, stuff this and just ignored the 800 assignments.


And besides, what's the rush?

I'll be farming marks for days afterwards as well, just for the requisition projects, so I'm not really in a hurry to get there and start another grind!
