Romulans/Remans in fed or kdf can't wear their uniforms. why not????

My reman toon is in a fed fleet,but I can't wear that fleets uniform.
Cryptic why not????? and will this change.????

    this is easy your not a member of Starfleet only a ally

    this is what should be asked for is fleet romulan uniforms

    My question to the OP is why even make a Romulan/Reman character in the first place and not just use the alien option for Fed/KDF?

    No, it won't change. The fleet uniform is a Fed Outfit, and Romulans/Remans cannot wear Fed Outfits, same as Fed's can't wear Rom outfits.

    The best you can hope for is for a Rom Fleet Outfit. But I imagine that will be held back until Rom's get their own starbases.
