I purchased the Legacy pack, and have not regretted it for a second. Legacy of Romulus impressed me in the closed beta stage, and it continues to impress me now as the bugs are worked out.

If I had the money, I would have gotten the Legacy Pack, but since I don't then I just upgraded to gold, bought a D'ridthau and plan to buy a D'deridex Retrofit.

All in all I have spent $30 since the launch of LoR and will be spending $25 more when I can use the D'deridex Retrofit.

Since gold membership perks don't disappear when you discontinue the subscription I think this was the best balance for me.

I personally couldn't justify purchasing the Legacy Pack and the Starter Pack didn't offer what I wanted.

However, as soon as I hit level 20 I bought the Valdore which I used until I hit level 50 :D

As soon as I hit level 50 I used my Veteran token to get the Mogai Retrofit, stripped the console out of it, bought 4 Fleet Ship modules off the exchange and immediately bought the Fleet Mogai.

Tbh, most of my C-Store purchases during LoR have been for things like Doff slot upgrades or expanding my Bank/Inventory.

I did not purchase any of the packs , i looked at the items you would recieve on
purchase of one of them and in my opinion it was not worth it , ships from level 1 -40
there not bad or anything its just that you level up pretty fast that you cant really enjoy
them all that much you settle in and then you already move on to the next one
so a great deal of the ships where already in my opinion not worth it , then it also
came with "titles" sorry but i dont care about titles to begin with either.
i pretty much assumed that "most" items would find its way to the C-store anyway
and they did there are a few exceptions but nothing i personally cant do without.

ile probably purchase a few higher tier ships and the reman and perhaps some other
things here and there but all in all i will end up somewhere in between the packs
with c store purchases also i expect more content to be added so a good chance i
will be purchasing more shiny items along the way.

I got the Starter pack.... and considering I stopped paying for my Sub when I hit the 600day vet mark (free VA ship token) this worked out EXTREMELY well for me... wish I had the 550 zen for the costuming as that's all I really wanted but I had the T'varo, the T'varo Retrofit, and a Fleet T'varo ( I was not impressed enough with the T'varo class after I got my fleet version) and eventually settled on the Fleet Ha'feh for my end game ship..... a bit more durable than the Fleet T'varo and can have a similar BOFF layout to that of a Fleet patrol Escort....

but for me I went with the starter pack because I could not affoard the legacy pack... I got the Liberated Borg/Reman Doff and I guess that's going to work for me for a while...

    I got the Legacy pack.

I honestly didn't care what was in it. As a KDF player, Cryptic has given me absolutely 0 reasons in the last year to support their product, yet I wanted to. So that's why. (5 bucks for one more console slot and 10% HP on my current ship? C'mon, get serious.)

As far as I'm concerned, all the ships and consoles and stuff were a neat bonus.

I made a Romulan character to experience the content but it is an alt to me and I'm not concerned with it having the best of the best items.

I played through all the missions unique to the Romulans, and they were nice, but I'm finished with them.

When Stahl polled us about our wishes for STO, I voted for exploration revamp as that's the activity I would be doing daily and probably not replaying missions. I'm happy for those of you that identify as Romulans that you won out.

I'm probably not going to spend any money again until there is a different type of gameplay and increased customization of fleet holdings. I don't need more ship variants to grind the events in the pve queues. What I desire are star systems to explore and a chance to customize ground maps. That is what I'd find compelling.

Seems like almost everybody bought something. It's always good to hear from the people who bought nothing though, proving that the game really is free to play, and that buying things is in fact optional.

Given the number of Rommie alts I'm running, and the number of fleet ships I knew I was going to go for, the Legacy Pack was a no brainer. It's already paid for about 75% of it's cost with the FM discount.

i bought a legacy pack, and later ponied up for a LTS, so i'm pretty good right now ^^

was a bit bummed that the unique consoles on the T5 ships can't be used except on the ships they come with, but i can understand the reasoning.

would have been nice to fire a singularity or destabilized torp from my Haakona though :D

I bought a Legacy pack, primarily for the two ships I need to make a T5 Valdore and a few other goodies like a TOS costume, the Reman Borg Tac BOff, and $30 worth of master keys.

I discovered I really love the look of the Dhael-class (Dhelan refit) - especially with the Reman 2 skin and the single-wing option, that ship has got Tal Shiar Black Ops written all over it.

Bought the Legacy Pack, enjoying my Romulan. Though I've still been spending more time on my Feddies, because I really want to get the ECs for the D'kora. My Ferengi captain isn't complete without it. :D

Also finally decided to get the Lifetime sub a couple days ago. Rolled a Romulan Borg, but haven't got very far with him yet.

Careful with the Valdore and its console. PvPers are having a tantrum over the shield heal console. I spent $ on it and would hate it getting nerfed.

Based on Dan's excitement at the success of LOR launch in his most recent interview, I would imagine they have done quite well.
