I'm sure this has potential to be as good as the breen ship in no win scenario, maybe beter, gw1 tbr1 and rsp1 access in one ship is pretty nice imo, breen ship can only access 1 tbr and gw.
Say the word, it saves the world. CUUCUUMBEER!"-With slight partigen with it." Proud member or DPS-800"-We kill dem mines with our scitter turrets."
I ran Infected Elite space last night and this ship was part of the group. I don't know why but the captain kept on blowing up... as a comparison I ran the Tac Vesta Class. I guess they just didn't have enough heals and focused on DPS cuz it out DPS'd me, the two Oddys, and another Warbird.
If you get this ship, I'd run it with enough heals... HE1&2 plus Aux2SIF1 is what I use on my Vesta. Plus it shield tanks thanks to the rep system and the Purple MK X warp core I got gives GW a nice boost.
I personally have the space version of the Adapted MACO set for bonus torp damage. If you can't get it, use regular MACO space set for hull healing.
Cmd tac: TT1, CRF 1 or BO2 if you run beams, HYT3 or TorpSpread 3, APO 3
Ens tac: HYT 1 or TorpSpread 1 depending what you slot in the Cmd tac
Lt. Cmd sci: HE1, HE2, GW1
Lt. Uni: Set to Eng with EPtS 1, Aux2SIF 1
Lt. Uni: either set to Tac or Eng and augment the build focus on your ship
Space DOFFs:
2 Damage Control Engineer purple (forAux2SIF hull heal), 1 Projectile Weapons Officer purple, 1 Energy Weapons Officer to lower cooldown on either Beam or Cannon abilities, and pick the last one that makes it useful for ya
I am sadface to hear that this ship is not as powerful as it is gorgeous. I'll probably only be able to afford to buy one lockbox ship, so maybe I'll wait for one that looks great and performs too.
I am new to the game and it seems very complex, so I'm going to try and learn a little more before I settle on an end-game ship.
It's a decent ship, I suppose; it's decently balanced and stacks up well against most C-store T5 ships. It's nothing like the JHAC and makes you wonder what the hell PWE was smoking when they designed the thing, if that's for what you're looking. I have mine built as a torpedo/mine layer ship on my science officer and am pretty happy with it.
The shrapnel torpedo isn't really bad, but it could use some love. It looks much better when you (more accurately) compare it to the point defense system consoles, than the spammier torpedoes or a torpedo spread. It's a small craft and frigate killer, not a particular heavy-hitter intended for use against escorts or larger.
Somebody getting uppity about canon? No problem! Just take a deep breath, and repeat after me:

In the meantime, do more research...
