The Elachi...(Silent Enemy?)

Hey guys,


Loving the expansion and this could already be mentioned so my apologies...

The Elachi... When I saw the small ships firing their weapons on my romulan ships, it hit me suddenly... I saw that weapon fx before. I saw it in an episode of Star Trek Enterprise.

STO took the aliens from the episode "Silent Enemy" where the Elachi were actually the "Mysterious Aliens" and that were attacking the enterprise in a guerilla style.

Am I dreaming or does this look a lot like the Elachi?

    It's made fairly obvious that these aliens and the Elachi are one and the same. For instance, the Elachi are even referred to in game, and publicity material, as a 'Silent Enemy'. The first time you encounter them, they communicate by sending words from your message back to you in a different order.

    The Elachi are also supposed to be the aliens from TNG's "Schisms", based on how they abduct crewmembers during sleep in order to experiment on them.
