Missing New Ship

Just turned level 20 with my ROM and was looking forward to getting a new ship. Apparently I have permission to buy ships for DIL but I didn't get the token to pick up a new ship.

I am right you are supposed to get a new ship at level 20. Right?

I opened a support ticket but no response yet.

    you automatically pick up a rank up token for your use to collect 1 ship at that rank you just leveled upto. make sure to chat with the admiral first or you dont get your token, the only time you dont get a ship token is SAII.

    I would bet money that this is the issue, I've done it myself a fair few times!

    I appreciate you guys chiming in. Don't you get a Quest to speak to your admiral etc? I got promoted in battle I was disconnected from and when I logged back in no quest. I went to see D'Tann but I am not allowed to talk to him. I think something is glitched.

    At level 20 you don't talk with D'Tan, or at least i didn't... I talked with another guy in the New Romulus Command Center...


    If you did't get the quest in for promoting your characer, then you should check your mission journal and look for the Hail button

    Admiral Kererek in the New Romulus Command Center.

    Try looking for the Promotion quest under your journal's "Available" tab as well.
