Rom Tactical Ground setups

Looking at the traits available I thought there were an obvious setup with the new Situational Awareness, however it feels underwhelming.
Situational Awareness is supposed to grant a 25% chance for Grenades to expose targets, but it feels more like 10% at best.
Coupled together with
Limited Telepathy (+10 Perception, +1s Expose Duration, and 40 degree wider flank protection)
Acute Senses (+10 Perceptiopn, +10% Exploit Damage, +25% Resistance to Flanking damage)
Covert (+20% Stealth, +10% Exploit damage)
That seems on paper like a setup for AoE expose + high exploit damage, but in reality it doesn't work out even remotely well, partly due to grenade Global Cooldowns but also the lower than expected Expose chance.
So any suggestions for Rom Tac ground setups? Coming from Sci/Eng the AoE damage and strong debuffs is a bit lacking.
