The lack of boff slots

Back in the day we had more boff slots added every ten levels, but NO.
Not with the ROMULANS.
I should have enough boff slots.
But I still have only 4 at level 20, why is this?

    its how it is.. the next one you should get at 25..
    one at 35 and the last one is awarded at level 45.
    you only get 6 total at level 50.
    [12:35] Vessel Two of Two Unimatrix 01 deals 225232 (271723) Plasma Damage to you with Plasma Lance.
    [12:44] Vessel One of Two Unimatrix 01 deals 1019527 (1157678) Kinetic Damage to you with Plasma Energy Bolt Explosion.

    Yeah have they changed what level slots get awarded at?

    I bought 2 extra slots, but still only have 6 at subcommander. I guess I should get one at commander and one at subadmiral then?

    I thought it was different than that before, but maybe it's changed or I just remember incorrectly.

    Its probably because you are a F2P 'Silver' account.

    Boff slot distribution was changed at the introduction of F2P, with both 'Gold' subscribers, and 'Silver' F2P having different schedules.

    According to the F2P Feature Matrix...

    For 'Gold' Members, BO Slots are received.
    • 2 at Lt.Cmdr (level 10)
    • 2 at Commander (level 20)
    • 2 at RA Lower Half (level 40)

    For 'Silver' Members, BO Slots are received
    • 1 at Captain (level 30)
    • 1 at RA Lower Half (level 40)

    yeah. silver guys basically get enough BO's to fill up a T5 ship, with maybe an extra one?

    Gold and Lifers get more.... i think there is a Boff slot vet reward as well.

    Legacy Pack Lib Borg Reman also gives 2 boff slots, presumably so the player can actually recruit their story BOFFs.
