Devils Choce seems bugged

I have doing the Episode Devils Choice for 5 hrs now. No sooner do I respawn than I am one shotted and never get to fire on any ship. This seems to be on wave three. The whole flotilla, the kang and the defiant are all gone and I seems to be on my own.
