Mirror Universe Event

Quick question. When one of my characters needed xp for the rep system I was able to easily gather 100k xp in one hour playing this event.

What can my lvl 15 Romulan expect to get out of this event? Will he queue with others of the same rank or join in with anyone? Are the rewards less? 100k in an hour seems like a lot for a new character, that's like the first 18 ranks.

Rule of thumb for me is: About 3 levels per Mirror Event (regardless of current level, it scales), depending on the successrate of the Optional.

Its about 2/3 of a level per map, depending on which end of the bracket you are. (ie lvl 10 in the 10-19 doesnt need as much to fill the level as a 18 does) A good group will clear the map in about 5 minutes. An average random group will take about 10. Yes, its good xp. This is intentional.

Theres a lot of tractor beam spam so make sure you have attack pattern omega, or polarise hull plating.

The optional is best to skip unless your team is especially slow. For a group that is weakended before the Stahl spawns, they will come in with only 1/3 hull. But their hulls are like paper anyway, and they're federation AIs, and love to spam each other with engineering team, so its not going to matter much. Usually the optional causes more trouble than its worth.

PS: in case you dont know the optional obejctive in Mirror Universe Event...

There are 4 satellites on the map, fly to each one and you can upload a virus. But when you do this each seperate fed battlegroup will head towards 'their' satellite...

But yea, as previously mentioned this event can be done as fast as 5 minutes...

The other day, at Commander level, some guy brought his VA friend in an escort. Mobs all died like flies, but the XP was also not too great. Cheating doesn't seem to pay.
