The Doomsday Device Mission Issue...UPDATE!! RESOLVED!!

LOL... turns out after watching a walkthrough on youtube was a tiny thing i bypassed that even though you can bypass it if you dont do it the mission wont complete. So now i resolved my own issue happy to report something i had to research further and paid off.

    What was it? I'm having a similar problem. Do I have to take out BOTH consoles on the planet?

    That's happened to a lot of people. I had to re-do that mission five times before I figured it out.

    To anyone who's wondering, there's a group of enemies you can bypass during one of the space sections of the mission. If I'm not mistaken, it's the Targ's escort in the first space segment... but it's been a few months since I played that mission, so I can't guarantee that. You're prompted to destroy them by the mission objectives, but it's generally easier and more logical to avoid them altogether and board the Targ right away.

    However, if you do that, you will have technically not completed all the mission objectives. In other words, despite the rest of the mission playing out as normal, you won't receive your reward or move on to the next mission when you destroy the doomsday device.
