Good day!
I'm hoping that someone might be able to help me. I've been grinding EC's for a few weeks now. Unfortunately, due to a lack of time, I've only been able to work my way up to about 40 mil EC's.
To get here (@ 40 mil), I've run the "tour the galaxy" a few times, I've tirelessy bought ship equipment being sold for less than 50% on the exchange then sold it to my nearest vendor. I've run farming missions on the foundry. And I've ground some dilithium to buy and sell some master keys on the exchange. All in all, it's been quite a lot of work, as very many of you most certainly already know.
My goal is to pass the 100 million EC mark as fast as possible.
My question is...
now that I'm at around 40 million EC's, is there a way of speeding up the process?
I've searched the exchange for some value on some of the more expensive items, but having worked so hard to get where I am, I'm too chicken to blow my in-game EC savings on items that may or may not resell with good value to help me achieve my goal.
Maybe the answer is to just keep grinding the way I've been grinding, but if anyone has any advice to give, I would be very grateful.

You could go for manipulating the price on certain items. However you need to be careful with some items as either players put them on the exchange in high volume or other players trading them may have billions available to them and if they decide to do something you will gain or lose ec.
The other option is you can look at it the other way. How can I get items that are worth a significant amount from drops? It's possible to get random drops that are worth 100k's or millions just by playing the right parts of the game.
Lastly maybe zen/dil trading may work out better for you. It's easy enough to realise profits with zen store items.
