The Doomsday Device Mission Issue...Please Help

I have completed the mission i destroyed the doomsday device and have beamed back and in the right system however its not allowing me to hail starfleet to complete it. Not sure what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

    hm, I hate the mission, its to long.. but I must say I've never Heard of your problem.. try delete mission and pick it up again.. know it sucks, but sometimes it helps.. lots of bugs in the game..

    have done it twice now and am not doing it again. this is unacceptable to ask me to do it multiple times as long as it is.

    I have already submitted a bug report/ticket but i really want to complete this mission.

    There are issues with the Hail Starfleet completion feature in other missions as well. Especially in the Borg Invasion alert events. It seems like it's gotten worse since the LoR updates, though.

    so should i just wait it out then or what? Are they officially looking into it?

    Just wait it out and see if the bug gets fixed. With all of the chaos right now, it might be a while. Just resubmit a report if the issue isn't fixed in the near future. That's all I know to tell ya.

    Can i proceed to the next episode or major mission without turning it in?

    That I don't know. I've never run into that issue on story missions. I would assume so.

    lol thats what im worried about if i cant progress in the story to level up quicker as thats where most of the level points come from whats the point in playing? Im trying to get to captain so I can unlock galaxy class cruiser and if i cant level up theres no point.

    You should be able to just skip it and move on to the next mission. A buddy of mine is having the same issue.

    Glad to see I'm not the only one having this issue. It happened to me almost a month ago, then again today. I know I CAN skip it, but I really want the rewards I earned by beating the thing. I heard the most recent patch fixed some bugs with this mission, but clearly not this bug. Any idea if we'll be able to pester them into fixing it soon?
