Here we go again.

First the obligatory chest thumping:

Over $1k spent on game

Now the Reason for the post: Here we go again with the waiting, not just in queues, but everywhere.

Sure it's to be expected but when it fails with the billing dept., then something must be done.

Don't want to wait in game queues as long? Then SUBMIT and purchase a subscription...

Ok, I tried. The page took all my info as usual, but then instead of confirming my subscription, it kicked me back to the subscription plan choices.

Before resubmitting, I checked my e-mail, and found info regarding my new change in status. OK I think, it's gone through after all, but let's make sure.

I go to my credit card website, and i have a $1 charge for PWE cryptic sub. WHY this and not the monthly subscription amount? Or this charge AND the sub amount?

OK, we have a phone number on the email to contact PWE billing. I call.......

They don't have a Queue for billing. Oh sure, I wait, and get the recorded 'thankyou for waiting' , but after about 4-5 of these, the system advances, notifying me of the business office hours, and tells me to call back, effectively hanging up on me.

When you can't get through to the last line of reason, then what can be done?

I spent all the monies and have spent less then zero time playing the game. Please return all the monies to me, and I suppose a new Warbird. A real one. On account of how mad I am.

Why comment?* There are already several threads on similar subjects. Besides, this sounds like more of a Support issue, and something that can't be resolved on the forums. Because of that, it's probably in the wrong forum. But as the forums somehow still lack a Notify Moderator function, I doubt it will be easily moved.

    * The irony that I actually did comment is not lost upon me.

I don't care how long you've been playing. I only care about how you play.
And remember to follow the rules.

Yes, It IS a support issue, but, do you see any support around here? Go on, look around.

As I suspected, there is none. But, perhaps, just maybe someone in the right position may see this, and gods of greed willing, the ability to get through to customer service may be opened, and the reasons I'm not being subscribed, or why they've taken money without providing bought service will be revealed.

If I was in game as my wallet is desperately trying to accomplish, then I wouldn't be here... personally, I hate here.

Just FYI - the $1.00 charge is something most companies do with online transactions; once you put your info in, they 'reserve' a $1.00 charge (which is then auto-cancelled) just to make sure the card info is valid. that said, if the remainder amount wasn't charged, yep something in the billing process hosed itself.:(

Only thing you can do at that point is contact them during their business hours or attempt the process online again if you do still want to subscribe (and yeah when online transactions go bad, it sucks.)

You must not know how some things work with a credit card, that $1 that you see in your statement, it a test amount to ensure that you gave proper info and did not try to **** PWE/Cryptic over, give it a couple of days and you will see the sub price come up like it is suppose to.

Good to see I'm not the only one not playing - NOT! I'd much rather be ingame with all of you than stuck here hoping for some small satisfaction.

If the amount I've spent on this game offends you, sorry you've not the stomach or wallet for such things. If you had it to spend/waste, you would. This is my choice and not open to discussion or debate.

Meanwhile, business hours... umm, yeah, I kinda get it... call back during business hours...
In my case that's when I started calling... doesn't make sense to knock on the door of an empty house >.>

Anyways, we'll bump this thread, waiting for someone to pick up a phone and ask someone else if there is indeed a problem getting through to billing, where someone else gets on a forum, and tells us what the heck is going on.

I hope you realize complaining about money isn't going to speed up the process anytime soon...
