Remans - No Gray Skin?

I'm currently creating a Reman and I noticed that I don't have the Gray-Bluish skin color of those Remans in Nemesis.

Instead, it's a Brown or Green tone?

Don't buy a playable Reman - if you reach Tier V in Romulan Reputation once on any character, it then unlocks for free. Otherwise, you can buy it and save yourself the hassle.

As far as it being "worth" buying; the different traits between Romulan and Reman species will make only a minor difference in gameplay in the long term (unless you're into PvP and like to use ultra-specialised builds) - I suggest you you pick whichever appeals to you most thematically.
Forget the possibility of PvP, for so much has become pay-to-win, never to be balanced. Forget the promise of exploration and research, for in the grim dark future of Star Trek Online there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of thirsting publishers.

Also, no spots on the rest of the body, they stop at the neck.
No makeup colors on the females, you're stuck with one color.
No claw options for the hands.

Yes, the lack of ash-gray Reman pigmentation is kinda jarring.

The inability to color the makeup on women is a bit odd.

I'd like to see more reman like skin colors, and more make up options for the Type 2 female reman head. I think you can change it on the least looking reman female head type.

To add to this, I've also noticed some weird things with my Liberated Borg Reman BOff. To name a few, there are no Reman infected ears only Romulan ones and I think I can change the head type to a Human(?)

As for our Captains, Reman males are missing some things like the claws and the Reman females are missing a lot like skin color, make-up, scars/tattoos, etc.

They don't need makeup, their females aren't Remantically inclined.

    Lol!

Although perhaps it isn't "makeup", but a natural skin coloration only present on certain females...?

I thought the psionic attack was either going to be an innate feature, or bundled with required class traits. It's actually an optional trait, which means you have to opt to use it rather than something else that could be there. That puts me in the position of using a valuable trait slot for a gimmick ground power. Hrm.

Appearance, yes the no spots thing sucks. Only noticed it when put my Reman in a skirt though (TOS uniform). Usually she's pretty covered head to toe. The hands thing I totally missed, but yeah they did have some nasty clawed hands that should be in there. You could put gloves on to obfuscate that, but that's no fun. Hopefully these appearance options will get added in as things move along.

I will give one warning when making a female though: The Nemesis uniform makes her TRIBBLE look deceptively small. I originally set mine up wearing the Nemesis uniform, and set them to a size that looked reasonable. The slider was fairly far up, but I figured maybe Remans had been designed with more restrictive breast size since they are kind of reptilian. Then, I got my Republic uniform and realized I had, in fact, gigantic bazongas. Which I didn't mean to do, but fixed last night. If giant bazongas are your thing, you can have them on your Reman, but the Nemesis uniform makes them hard to see.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with the appearance I got out of her though. The hood is bad TRIBBLE.

Idk what you guys are talking about, in the advanced options you can pick claw hands... The lack of ashtray grey does blow. And wtf is the deal with the hood option in the head settings for and not in the uniform section!?

hoods, etc have always been in the head option. That isn't just limited to Remans. The Bajoran Robes also have the hood/headgear in the head option.

and I agree, when they changed the skin color and look for the Reman females on Tribble I was a little disappointed. (There should still be some old photos of Veril out there somewhere). the greyish-blue skin tone missing is just odd, and I hope Cryptic eventually fixes this.

As things stand, I can't wait to get rid of Veril now, and will probably never have a Reman female either as a Captain or Boff. I just don't like the new look.

Since STO launched I was excited at the aspect of making a Reman captain, but the lack of grey skin really ruins the whole thing to a degree. These Remans don't even look like..Remans. I really hope they add in grey skin tones and let us look like the Remans in Nemesis, I've noticed Reman NPC's look more appropriate.
