Question about "free ship" for VA/LG Lifetime Subs

I got a mission for a "free ship" on my KDF LG but am only seeing access to the lowest tiered ship. Is this correct?

    I think your free ship is the chimera and whatever the KDF equivalent is.

    My fault, I meant the token not the ship you get for lifetime subscribing. I was under the impression lifers got a free ship token with LoR and the one I have only lets me get ships up to Cmdr. level and with 9 LG/VAs, its kinda pointless.

    Your new Romulans (and other new characters) will get the standard Lifer ship tokens, but nothing new beyond that.
