Romulan Carriers

So the Romulans have no carriers did I miss one?

Lockbox carriers like the Recluse and the two jem'hadar carriers don't count.

I don't do lockbox ships, so if I make a Romulan the only carriers I'll have access too are my Dacoit and Corsair if I ally with the Klingons and nothing at tier 5.

    you didn't miss anything. no carrier. yet.

    The Scimitar is planned and most of us feel that that is going to be the romulan carrier, which makes sense considering it was one in nemesis even though it didn't actually launch any fighters.

    No carriers at launch.

    I imagine there will be one sooner or later since they made the Scorpion Fighter. I wouldn't be surprised if it's something like the Scimitar since that's the ship the fighter originated from in Nemesis.

    not sure but i thought t4 ships can be used by romulan from an alley you could use the kdf t4 carrier if so

    I'm definitely looking forward to a carrier, I'm saving making a Reman till we get one!

    Reman Captain commanding a carrier with Reman Fighters and a Reman Skin, that's what I'm looking forward to!

    That is correct. But there is no T5 and no romulan carrier. and no T4 carrier if you go with Fed.

    I'm assuming you mean the Orion Dacoit and Corsair flight-deck cruisers? Because the Vo'quv and Kar'fi are both Tier 5 ships.

    question when did the Vo'quv become t5? i got mine back at t4 for my kdf i'm guessing it was moved up in rank to allow for the kdf 1-50 content.

    It's been t5 for as long as I can recall, which was before f2p.

    I hope the Scimitar isn't a carrier. Being a carrier means that it's losing out if you don't use your fighters.

    Alsooooo, just because it had Scorpions doesn't automatically make it a carrier. If that logic applies everywhere, then every Federation ship should be able to launch a wing of type-8 shuttles.

    The devs have been remarkably silent on the Scimitar. No mention of it being in the Store, lockboxes, or if we'll see a 3 pack or not, though I could see that being the case. There's also been no mention of it being a carrier or not. So far in game it hasn't been.

    facts aside...

    The fact that it will be a carrier -most likely
    In the Zen store as a 3-pack -most likely

    T4 is CAPTAIN rank.

    T5 is everything Admiral/General and above.

    The Vo'Quv has always been T5 as stated above.

    There's still the Jem hadar escort and dreadnaught, plus the tholian recluse that are available to Romulans.

    Dear GOD I hope there is a Romulan carrier... I'm already having withdrawal pains from my Vo'Quv and Karfi :P

    I can't wait for the Scimitar, it will most likely be the first and last of those ridiculous 3 packs that I buy, if it's a carrier... All the better!
