So. how many returning players...

So, how many returning players do you think will log on Tuesday afternoon and be completely lost :D

Happens every major patch, but this time it ought to be hilarious...

"What happened to the UI?"
"Where did all my traits go?"
"What are Nukara Marks?"
"How do I make a Romulan?"

I'm going to sit on ESD and laugh for three hours :D

    where is sulu :)

    but I would say most of all that wanted to play romulans at start

    Oh gosh.. this too. Time to break out my old Temporal Mechanics 101 book...

    I've explained Alternate realities enough times that Temporal Corp is getting suspicious.

    Was hyped for the game when it was first announced and played the BETA before launch 3 years ago...then, upon released played through the game for 3 month and left it with huge dissapointment...never came back even when it went Free to Play :(

    Then heard about Legacy of Romulus...gave it a shot during OPEN BETA weekend and i was shocked to see how much the game has changed...this should be the Star Trek Online 3 years ago...with all the improvement, revamp and new faction, quest and missions, it's like i'm playing an entire new game...:)

    I was so amazed with what the developer has done, I've decided to subscribed again just to support them and the game...so to all the ex-player, come back and give the game a shot..it's Free to Play, so it doesn't hurt to try

    I'll certainly try to login a few times, but I'm not expecting to get in. . .and if I do, game performance will be way out of whack.

    It'd be interesting to be there when new players start KDF at lvl 1, so I could answer questions like a wise old Dahar master or something.

    No, Not really, Khev is literally in your FACE. When you bury "Go to the Admiral's Office, which is right there" in a mountain of text (that people are prone to skim and skip), it was easy that a lot of people missed it. And, if I recall correctly, Sulu originally didn't have a mission giver icon above his head before you talk to Quinn (so again, really easy to miss Sulu).

    However, I will ask where's Sulu on my Rom when I first get control over it.

    He may be in your FACE, but when we opened up the beta, I stood around in Virinat greeting people, and MULTIPLE TIMES I heard, "Where's Khev?"

    But yeah, I think this will be the most asked question for new Romulans.

    Another on old players returning will be "How do I make a new Romulan Character?"

    And then all the JJ-Trek fanboys coming in not realizing this is in the wrong universe.

    TBH, I'll log in on the launcher so it's patching while I play X3: Terran Conflict - X-Tended mod for the simple fact that I'll not be able to enjoy STO until later at night, 12 hours after they release LoR.

    I had the wife buy some popcorn at the grocery store this past weekend. I also had her buy LOTS of Mountain Dew. So, if the servers are not available or log in is impossible, I will be getting my entertainment from the Forum Rage that will ensue (and I think it will be hilarious reading it all!) I don't contribute, but I do identify the most absurd posts to all my friends. We all sit back and LOL at them. Enjoy the moment tomorrow everyone! I know I will....AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
    I'm a lover not a fighter. But I'm also a fighter so don't get any ideas...

    You should login now and then exit the game and it will pre patch today. There will be lots of dopes doing it tomorrow so it will probably be slow.

    I played the game beta and a little after launch. I actually bought a LTS, but only played it off and on through the years, pretty much hadn't touched it in almost a year until this was announced.
    Now I'm debating, do I want to finish my Fed or start over as a Romulan... Romulan leveling seems so much more enjoyable and fun, but I love fed ships and uniforms a lot more, and from what I can tell I can't have the top tier Intrepid ship (which is what I really want) or put my romulan in a fed uniform...

    Wasn't there an entry in a recent tribble patchnotes about them adding a new "Whats new in Season X" button to the escape menu? I never got to check it out, but hopefully it'll help people out somewhat.
