klingon cat cant use honor guard visuals?

i changed uniforms on my klink cat just for a change and now it will not allow me to change back into my honor guard uniform. i've been to the tailor and the uniforms are still there in the slots (i even re-make the honor guard) and i still cant use the visuals. i have no idea whats going on or how to fix it. this only seems to happen to my klink cat as i can change freely to any uniform slotted on any non-cat klink toon.
any one else having this issue? or know a solution?

    You might get more mileage asking in the KDF forum.
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.
