It's almost impossible to complete this mission, when you're standing alone (with 3 allied ships permanently under repair) against fleet with two dreadnoughts (even single one is OP and unscrathable with mk VII - VIII plasma dual heavy cannons)!!! Is it intentional?

    is that where you get a shuttle?

    you arent supposed to nor do you have to use the shuttle, just use your ship

    No, it's where you're defending New Romulus. I fly a D'deridex atm. Finally after numerous deaths I complete it - by luck the Command Ship was little off the main group so I kill it with help of the U.S.S. Kirk. Second luck was that this ?ber-ship wasn't firing back...:cool:

    hehehehehe.. yeahhh, that mission has a couple of different threads going here already. its a pain in the TRIBBLE.. At least you were in a d'Dex. i used my mogai and paid dearly for it.. Now i've got an assault cruiser but i'm not sure it would stand much more of a chance against those big guns..

    Enh... I used a D'D with a Dragon setup and it worked fine.

    erm, what mission are you talking about...becaues im certain that unlocking the box doesn't involve any kind of fighting lol

    unlocking the box is the lock boxes mission with the ferengi

    based on what the OP says..i think he is talking about Devil's choice with the defense of New Romulus part.

    The basic premise of a Dragon Flagship build is to use Eng skills to amp your ship power levels to an insane degree.

    A D'Deridex has 6 Eng Boff skills. One Boff Station is rank 4, the other rank 2. My setup was EptS1, EptS2, EptW1, EptW2, Aux2Batt2, and Eject Warp plasma. In combat, I just keep cycling power level buffs to keep my weapon and shield power as high as possible. You can have Aux2Batt active at the same time as EPtX, so it gives you a double stacked boost.

    Ah, thanks, I'm familiar with the Aux2Bat thing, I just never saw it called dragon setup before. :)
