TRIBBLE has been updated to a new build.
ST.30.20130513a.9

General:
  • The New Romulus Command Bridge Officer vendor has been updated to only sell Romulan Bridge Officers.
  • Reverted the change to the height of the mission tracker UI.

    Well that was... short... ;>

    Are we to assume what we'll see now is what's gonna end up live on tuesday? Or are there some other fixes and tweaks made internally?

    I guess this is the last patch. I doubt they will patch on Monday.

    well then, my expectations for a long pretty list of notes just got shot lol. At least it's nice to know that you've got things wrapped up almost over there. Can't wait for tuesday :D

    Speaking for myself, I'd hope the Aquarius bug would be fixed before launch. It's really silly-looking to have my escort as big as the Odyssey's saucer.

    No mention of the Singularity core icon over-riding ground UI screens (Tailor / loading etc.)

    Can't we at least choose their gender? Kind of disappointing to see only three common random boffs. No Remans, no Aliens, not even gender selection.

    Methinks they added a bit more than that ...250mb seems kind of much for such a small change.
    I plan on living forever ..so far so good

    My bet is more textures updated that just weren't listed in the notes.

    Wait wait wait...

    Think I missed something...launch is may 21 2013 right?

    so everything that needs to be worked wich is a list longer than a football field wont happen?


    ie Hair clipping
    uniform issues clipping/color pallets/missing items blah blah
    (did the kdf get their honor guard costume fixxed yet??)

    some doff issues/wants still

    plus just bout everything else discussed in the feedback threads...i dunno just seems a bit early to let the team take an afternoon off for the movie....

    Well, you know how it is, the game gets patched every week, they are not going to stop for anything short of a game breaking bug. Clipping and the like can be solved easily once they have the time for it.
    I hope they update those generic fed vendors at Romulan Command to proper republic stuff before launch, otherwise it is going to be confusing to new players.

    Patching very, very slowly.

    This is completely fubar. I had to close the launcher and it's back at 0%. It took me over an hour to get to ~45%

    WHAT GIVES!?

    This is impressively slow, but it has been worse. A couple of weeks ago the patch was flat out jammed and we were locked out of tribble for almost six hours. While slow, at least this is steady.

    Zero, thank you for reverting the Mission Tracker change. It was pretty bad how the Lower window was shrunk so small and couldnt be adjusted.

    The "slow patching" as you call it is actually "shadercache.hogg", and it usually takes awhile to patch, as it is a very large file. Give it time.

    Well, I have been patching for about 45 minutes and only up to 42%...make that 43%. Hoping LoR launch goes better than this.

    43% is shadercache.hogg, after that is the romulan intro FMV, also bog. again, give it time. Go watch some Tv or read a book.

    Mine took about an hour, steady progress all the way though. Will this stuff transfer over to Holodeck, or is it going to duplicate everything?

    Has anyone on tribble that's in a fleet have an issue after the update where all the members except the original 5 were booted? Or is this normal for tribble updates?

    If you mean the patch, then yes. What will happen on launch day is that the Holodeck patch will check your pre-patch and the TRIBBLE patch and copy the required files from those folders, then add any remaining data through patch download.

    Any time you close the launcher and open it during patching will reset the percentage to zero. However you are now patching from where you left off.

    Mine took almost 2 hours . . . the first 85% went fast, and then it slowed to a crawl.

    Over four hours patching here, first stuck for ages at 27% and now stuck at 41%.

    Yes it is. Mine is still stuck downloading the Rom intro movie. At this point, I would just prefer if LoR had no intro movie at all...
