No Romulan Officers at New Romulus Command?

Is it WAI that you cannot recruit Romulan or Reman officers at the BOff vendor at Romulus Command?

It seems rather stupid that for a Romulan/Reman only zone, we cannot even recruit our own species for out officers.

Keep the Fed/KDF on their respective home-worlds.... and give us access to Roms/Rems:

    You can recruit Romulan/Reman BOffs (white only) at the Flotilla, but none of the allied ones. This is probably working as intended due to the fact that only the Flottilla was mentioned on a certain dev blog to sell Romulan/Reman BOffs.

    I think we should have a maximum of one non Romulan/reman boff at any given time and that None should be sold on new romulus who aren't Romulan/reman

    IMO we need either the Flotilla or Command Center but not BOTH.

    Its redundant since they are 3 feet away from each other. And confusing if they dont sell the items. And a pain to have to go back and forth

    At the very least they should just let us beam to the flotilla instead of have to zone multiple times.

    And what ever the reasoning, there should be NO aliens in the command center. If people want to have aliens on their ships then they can go ESD with the rest of the human lovers.

    IIRC the options are just FED and no Klingon options are available.

    Doffing doesnt reward them either.

    So at this point aside from the leveling rewards, there is no way to get Romulan BOs.

    It depends on your chosen alliance which BOffs are available. My KDF allied Romulan at least has plenty KDF BOffs to choose from (which I will never buy of course ... what's the point in finally getting to play a Romulan if you have Klingons running around your bridge?).

    Also, as I said, you can always buy common white Romulan/Reman Bridge Officers at the Flottilla. I bought one and he even had both subterfuge and the operative trait.

    havent checked lately but the last time it cost dilithium to buy a common BO. I have never in this game used a common BO and surely wouldnt spend Dilith on one.

    I get plenty of Doff missions for Orions and Gorns etc but I dont want to have anything to do with Klingons.

    Its bad enough everyone on my ship is wearing those republican waiter jackets.

    but you can't get remans and its very hard to get a male one (call me old fashioned but I like to have men on my ship as well as women)

    It doesn't matter which color your BOffs come with as long as they have useful traits (and having both subterfuge AND operative on a single BOff is more useful than ANY purple BOff the Federation and KDF have access to). Also 240 Dilithium is not exactly expensive. You just have to play one daily mission to buy a full Bridge Crew.

    But the point is that Feds or Klingons have methods of getting blues or purples. Currently once you finish the missions there are no similar options for Romulans.

    And that Aliens are infiltrating our command center. Its bad enough everyone is wearing scarves. We dont Humans mucking about

    This is a known issue and has been fixed internally. Only Romulan Bridge Officers will be available at New Romulus Command in the future. Thanks for the feedback!

    Awesome news!

    Archon, is there any way green quality BOffs *could* be added to the vendors? For an increased cost of dil, of course? Leave Blue/Purp/Gold(?) for Doff (please!)? (This is for all factions, not just a Rom request.)

    Oh, damn... I didn't even notice that...

    Archon, will Reman Officers be available as well, or *just* Romulan?? I've noticed that the old missions that used to have Reman officers as a reward have all been 'updated' to remove the officers from the reward table. Since that change I have yet to receive a Reman officer (other than Veril). I know there are players out there that will try to have an entirely Romulan bridge crew (I will run one of those, in addition to) while others may want to run an entirely Reman crew (KDF will be my Reman Crew).

    I managed to get Two Reman boffs but both were female engineers

    Only Romulans will be available on this store for the moment, and only common (white) quality.

    I'll discuss finding other ways to get Reman BOFFs with the rest of the design team.

    And what about DoFF assignments? There are none available for recruiting BoFFs. All you can run are assignments which reward standard faction races:rolleyes:

    Thanks for the response, even if the answer kinda sucks... :(

    I'll hope that this is a change that can be implemented in the near future... at least the addition of Reman officers (even just white/common quality).

    sometimes it seems like we were meant to be stuck with the riff raff hitchhitchers for all eternity rather than building our own crew.

    As much as I am eager to form my Reman crew, I do also understand how powerful said crew might be. Nevertheless, I look forward to acquiring them and would prefer there be some rarity to them both in quantity as well as quality.

    The FE Science BOFF has been my first officer since that content was released, and I hope a episode rerun is coming soon, haha.

    The officers there I see are green. I guess thats because we are Romulan but it gives the appearence they are Green levekl and not white level

    There is one of each. One Tac, One Sci One Eng.

    There are no details listed at all. Not gender or skills or traits.

    Is it meant to be a mystery like opening a lockbox?

    It appears to be random, sort of like the mission reward officers that are unspecific as well...

    I shall simply look them over before commissioning and any stray females will go on the exchange
    (I do not want an almost all female crew and some people seem to be getting exactly that)

    in the past too the genders had a different set of traits. Cant think of a specific example but with Vulcans if you want one set of traits you more or less had to go with females because the Males wouldnt have them.

    I think in the past I had some issue with my Klingon wanting more females but having to use males for to get certain traits
