ST.30.20130513a.1

General:
  • Resolved an issue that caused players to lose control of steering their ships after respawning.
  • Removed a random white box from the Tholian Control room in Temporal Ambassador.
  • Added French and German text for Legacy of Romulus content.
  • Updated New Romulus vendors to carry Plasma weapons instead of Phasers.
  • Nimbus Adventure Zone
    • Resolved an issue where the open missions in the stronghold back and front had no respawn timer.
      • It will now take 10 minutes for these open missions to respawn when they are complete.
    • Resolved an issue where some open mission bosses would respawn as soon as they were defeated.
    • The accolade Rock Smasher should only be awarded to the player who completed it, instead of all players in the area.
    • The information on the Daily Dance-Off mission now correctly states that you have to complete it four times to get the fan dance emote.
      • Previously, it said five.
  • Updated the mission Rapier so the hostages are now unable to be killed.
  • A button has been added to the help menu to toggle tip help popups.
    • This is in addition to the tips option in the notification settings configuration.

KDF:
  • Updated The House Always Wins
  • Updated the replay rewards for all of the following Klingon missions:

  • KDF players will not get pulled out of cloak during interacts and talking to contacts in Your New Command, the KDF Space Tutorial.
  • In the Klingon mission The Hunt is On, Gramash in the shipyard no longer claims to be the Used Ship Salesman.
    • The proper Used Ship Salesman remains waypointed on your map.

Romulans:
  • Romulans allied with the KDF will no longer have Diplomatic instead of Marauding in the Duty Officer system.
  • Resolved an issue where the Ha'apax was not available as a free ship option for Romulan Subadmirals.
  • Updated the text and VO for many of the Romulan missions.
  • The final space battle in The Search for New Romulus is now more difficult.
  • Romulan Tactical Captains will now call in Romulan reinforcements when using Security Escort.
  • All Romulan Republic NPCs now have the correct costumes.

Systems:
  • Resolved an issue where the Singularity Inverter and Singularity Stabilizer consoles could be equipped on non-Romulan ships.
  • All Targetable Torpedoes have received additional AI upgrades which will prevent them from returning to detonate on friendly targets, as well as reliably cleaning up after detonation.
  • While in Shooter Mode, Gorn Bite can now only be used when your target is within range of the power.
  • New Romulan weapons now have updated item and power icons that reflect their new weapon models.

    /Approved

Hope the costume load/save functionality will return to the Foundry before all of this gets pushed to Holodeck or I will be an unhappy camper.

    Good stuff so far though.
    [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] I am a Cheestah.
    Check out my Foundry missions
Fed: "To Helna and Back", "Rema Donna", "Animations with Helna", "Mudd's Weapons", "Waiting for Wednesday", "Monolith"
KDF: "Time the Enemy", "Time the Ally", "Time the Traitor"

Is anyone else getting the "server unavailable at this time" message?

I really want to try out the D'deridex that I unlocked last night before I logged off.

By the way, I am loving this expansion more than anything else I've played in STO.

    Thank you! :D

    EDIT: Server unavailable?

"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them."

The server goes down for maintenance every time a new patch is applied. That is why it is currently unavailable. hopefully it will not take long.

Nice fixes! I hope the UI hail window dialogue occlusion issue, tied to UI scale under 1.0, is being investigated by the team.

Aren't they the Consoles from the legacy pack, I have bought the legacy pack but not been able to access any of its stuff, I assumed it was disabled for tribble.

This still needs to be fixed wrt the Klingon tutorial:
*The pre-equipped Klingon disruptor seems to be clipped by another handgun model. It only becomes visible when firing. Same on different characters.
*Some VO lines are missing. E.g., the second to the last line of K'Gan's motivational speech to your crew or the very first line of the Captain of the Seg'pa.
*K'Gan and Ch'gren, your first two BOffs appear to be clones! They look 100% identical.

Are they NEW!!!!! new weapons or is this just the new weapons we've always had in the Beta?

    Well, it's a start...
You're right. The work here is very important.

Sheesh. Also, when during the tutorial and all, the windows that pop up with a game tip has a check box to turn tips off but it didn't seem to work at all. Then I got frustrated because I looked all over the game options window and couldn't figure out how to turn them off manually. This whole stinking time it was in notification settings. Well thanks for adding it to the regular game options. :)
[*]Romulans allied with the KDF will no longer have Diplomatic instead of Marauding in the Duty Officer system.

I knew you guys would get this fixed before LoR went live. Thanks again. It's a good day to fly.............after I get the Tribble patch and install my new quad core processor (currently it has a dual core :D)

I know it's a minor concern, but how about the walking NPCs on Nimbus III that seem to 'ghost' through some of the pillars in town?

I got the reward for Maruading. But the DoFF screen still shows Diplomacy in its progress tab. All the reward Doffs in the store are still Klingon

Just because you pot KDF stuff doesn't mean if will make people happy. You mostly just edified rewards! No VOs added, No "Ummpf" in story stronghold... I feel like it is being slacked upon!

Love the fixes, but still waiting to hear about the UI color scheme. Right now, setting it to default applies the faction-specific color schemes for Feds, Klings, and Roms. However, if I select the "TNG" or "Voyager" color scheme for my Federation toons, that same color scheme appears on Romulan UIs and Klingon UIs. I'm not sure why the settings on one toon, should affect the settings on other toons I have. My UI scheme, and ultimately all my settings, should be individualized for each of my toons. Therefore, I should be able to apply whatever UI schemes I want to each toon I have, without it being applied to my other toons.

If LoR goes live next week with this issue, I'd be upset. As it would force me to play my Romulans with a Federation color scheme for the UI, or I would have to use the default Federation UI color scheme, which I don't like. I'd rather be able to use the Voyager color scheme on my Federation toons, and have the Romulan color scheme on my Romulan toon.

Progression stopper: Unable to exit the Battle Group Omega zone.
    ticket ID #41,273

As far as I know, whoever goes in there cannot ever leave. Themethods to exit the map (depart system, Enter Cestus Sector, Transwarp, visiting starship bridge...) do not work.

I was a Fed-Romulan. Possibly this has something to do with it, as I've never experienced this on holodeck with my other characters.

(also sent a Ticket for GM assistance, ID #41,276. Battle Group Omega is a hub so logging out and in isn't going to kick me out after 5 minutes)
