At the hfihar mining colony in mine enemy, the entire area is bathed in a pink light. I'm going to wager that this may be a problem stemming from the updated textures. either way, it really ruins the feel of the area. I'm also doing the mission as a Romulan, which may or may not be a factor.
Played with a non-Romulan, Starfleet character: I've entered the magnesite mine, and gotten past the initial guard by choosing the diplomatic dialog options. I get to the room with the hidden door, but there are no Tal Shiar characters in this room. I'm not being offered a chance to scan the campsite or open the door, so I can't continue the mission. Beaming back to my ship then returning to the mission didn't change anything.
Well, I'd just be happy to continue it ... transition from ship to surface has taken 12 minutes (& still counting). It still says it's patching files & it still appears to be running but boy!, is it slow ...
Hope this is indicative of running on Tribble & that it doesn't take this long on Holodeck

You should disable on-demand patching. Open your launcher (not the game, but the launcher i.e. don't click "Engage"), click on options on the upper-right, and put a check next to "Disable on-demand patching" on the little box that pops up.
You will then have to download an approximately 4GB patch, but after that you won't have to deal with "patching files" and "server not responding" every time you reach a transition.
