Couple KDF items I noticed

I just started playing a new KDF player and noticed a couple things:
First, I am unable to rename my ship I just got. When I try to rename it I get a message saying "You do not have a ship by that name."
Second, If I go to NPC or Combat chat tabs the scroll down button is right under the Chat Config button so it opens that every time I try to scroll down. So far that's it.
UPDATE: It allows me to change the name after I get the ship using the default name. I just couldn't do it when I initially purchased the ship.
