Character creation issues

So, I went into Tribble to mess around with the character creator a bit. I noticed that occasionally, the Romulan model would "stick" and find it's way into the Fed creator (and Fed only it seems, I couldn't get a Romulan into the KDF). Here are some screenshots to show what I mean:

I couldn't always reproduce this but I found if I backed out of the creator and then went back in and then quickly switched between the factions (particularly between Romulan and Fed) that I would get this occasionally. I didn't touch any other settings other than switching factions. If the bug didn't work, backing out and "re-rolling" gave a possibility of reproducing it. A few interesting things to note about the "Romulan Fed" screenshots... First, it had them listed as "Joined Trill" a race I have unlocked on Holodeck but not on Tribble... So, I could not proceed further than the initial selection screen. Also, I'm not sure if it is the lighting or not but having "Fed Romulans" also seemed to make the Romulan's outfits "redder." Lastly, I also noticed that as soon as my mouse cursor went over the gender buttons while in Fed, it corrected the incorrect Romulan with a proper Fed character.
Also, one time in the process of trying to reproduce the bug mentioned above, I had a Federation character with a KDF backdrop. I only got this one time but took an image before I backed out of the creator.

The only thing I can say about this was this occurred upon immediate entrance into the character creator after doing a lot of character re-rolls as I described above (in an attempt to reproduce the bug described above). I have no idea how to reproduce it unfortunately... Regardless, I hope that sharing the information and screenshot will prove useful.
PS- Oh and one more thing from the screenshots... I notice that the "Federation" and "Romulan" text under the faction logos is not really visible. Not sure if this is related to game resolution or not but I was running at 800x600.
