galorndon core system patrol

How do you complete galorndon core system patrol mission. try to herd gekli but hirogen attack non stop. I try to get the gekli to follow me when they do the hirogen attack and the gekli stop moving and I try to shoot down the hirogen but more come, it makes the mission hard to finish. please help.

Terminate them with extreme prejudice. Heal the Geklis. Hull repair TRIBBLE does the trick.

They won't move if you are more than a certain distance from them. This helps as you can go ahead and kill the Hirogen before they attack.

However for the patroll I just repeat one of the missions, the Carrera system one, until the 100% is done and the other places I go just to get the radiation scans. I find that works easier for me,
