Currently Romulan and KDF players get to sample a few of the Federation missions in the Cardassian storyline arc. However, not all of the missions are included. While on "Crack in the Mirror", a new player may be confused by the storyline due to fact that the preceding mission, "Tear of the Prophets", and the followup mission, "The Other Side", are both not included.
At the end of the mission the player is contacted by the Prophets and told that the Orb they recovered (which they never will have as they did not play the preceding mission) is from the Mirror Universe and that they must travel over to the other side to rectify the problem. The setup for the subsequent mission, however, is just left hanging as the mission "The Other Side" never gets played and will probably confuse new players who have not seen the full storyline on the Federation side.
