The Romulan Federation style uniforms are nice, however, there's a white belt and wrist pieces (tech strip on the right, wristband on the left), that are nonremovable. They clip horribly with most wrist options and all belts. These pieces seem to be tied in with both Federation Jackets, so if they could be removed/optional, that'd be great.
EDIT: Nevermind, I think its her kit! It didn't even occur to me to check that. However, it does mean that some kit designs (like the science ones) need to be reworked so as to be more 'out of the way' than they are currently if we want to have them show as there is some serious overlap with tailor parts.
"Back on topic. Destinii is correct."
(Formerly Destinii until the 'Great PWE Forum Shakeup of 2012')

Yes it does sound like you had your kit showing on your character by clicking the icon next to it in the character status window.
When at the tailor, right underneath your character on the right of the screen there is a button to "Hide Items". This will hide your kit if you have it selected in the character status window to be shown. The button in the tailor will have no effect on the option in the character status window, so you won't need to reshow your kit after you're done in the tailor.
Or you can click the icon next to your kit in the character status window to hide it and it won't show on your character at the tailor or even on your character at all.
