my tribble KDF experiences

Last night i played on tribble for a little while. I started off by rolling a klingon. I love the story, but i hurried through it because i want to experience and enjoy it on holodeck. I found it distracting, when i hurried through dialog that the voice overs would overlap. It should end, when the player moves on.

As I played through, my experience with the kdf came to abrupt stop with the flight or fight mission. I did this mission 3 times, and reached some kind of failed state each time that required me to restart the mission time and time again. Frustrating. the third time, i took my time and read through the story, paying close attention to the objectives and ended up with the same result, a failed state and a restart.

I suspect and will try to confirm it later when i get a chance to go back in and play, but I think the player is suppose to go to their bridge to analyze data before going to Qonos to speak with Worf. If this is the case, the mission needs to make this more obvious. include a a line of text telling us what to do, where to go in the dialog and within the objectives.

I'm having the same problem. But I thought the name of the mission was Friend or Foe. Have played it twice, first time reading through everything and second time flying through. Still get the failed mission result. Will try the same thing you are thinking of.

I found a way around this mission. First i had to accept the T'nog Nebula exploration and the Welcoming the Federation tutorial missions under the Available tab of the hailing/missions window. Then I switch priority mission status to the Federation mission and dropped the Friend or Foe mission. Only after I did that did it let me skip this troubled mission. But my character was still level 7 and you need to be at least level 8 to start the new story arc. So I used the tutorial missions to level up and now I am happily working on the next mission right now. If this doesn't work for you I'm not sure what else to do.
