Lockboxes on Tribble for Romulans

Did anyone open a lockbox on Tribble with a Romulan yet?

I just transfered a stack of keys and boxes from my main to the account bank on Tribble and created a new Romulan to open those and check out the stats for the mirror warbirds.

But it won't let me open the boxes "You do not meet the requirements". Is there a hidden level requirement (after tut I'm only 4 after all) or did Cryptic accidentally made Lockboxes FED and KDF only?

    I seem to remember them saying you could only open lockboxes after you've chosen an ally.

    yes lockboxes can only be opened aftre you choose sides.. that way you get items from your chosen ally

    Wait for the insult to injury to happen. Open 100 lockboxes on live (mostly for the lobi and the dilithium claims) and get no Jemmie Heavy Escort, then go to tribble, and get it on the first box you open.

    Ok thanks guys, that makes sense. Well as far as Cryptic logic makes sense, but it's an explanation, and now that you mentioned it I remember something along those lines vaguely too ;)

    Meh I guess I'll let someone else figure out those stats then. If I play the first few missions once again I'll be sick and tired of them before LoR even launches.

    ladymyajha: Oh yeah that would be "fun". Even though it is completely irrational, it always feels like your luck is "used up" after such an event.
