Zoom issue, great time to fix it and have it ready for exansion ...

I really, really am bothered that going from map to map, the game does not remember my zoom depth. I prefer to play zoomed almost all the way out so I can better see what is going on around me. I think the game should allow us to set our preferred default zoom and remember it. While getting things ready for the expansion, this would be the perfect time to get this done.
