Where is the Server Status update mentioned on the log in screen??

The Server is down yet again "for maintenance" for the second time within 24 hours. I can understand that, it happens, but it would be nice to have some updated information. What's worse is that these server downtimes have happened during our weekend prime time play. That is beyond frustrating to ALL of us but what is worse, is the lack of information Support has bothered to provide. I'm sure most of us would be much more understanding and appreciative if you actually gave us a little more advanced notice today and an approximate time the server would go back up. If you're going to tell us to "check the forums for more information" please keep your promise and if you have posted it somewhere, make it more accessible to us.

Also one more note, if you had mentioned to us why the server was down Friday for what seemed like 5-7 hours, I'm sure the players wouldn't be so frustrated. If you treat people who enjoy this game not to mention pay good money to keep playing it as if they don't need to know because they won't understand or don't have the right to know, than you will just alienate us. If you had the time to create all the updated posts on Friday about " how you were working on it but did know what the exact problem was" then you could have taken the extra 5 minutes to explain why it went down and what was done to fix it.

Of course the server just went back up after i posted this. Still after 3 hours of downtime there's no mention of what, why or how anywhere.

Hi Captains,

We will be bringing down all Cryptic games and services later tonight, Saturday, May 4th, for maintenance. We are planning to conduct this maintenance at 8PM PDT (click here to view in your timezone) and expect it to last for 4 hours. The test server will also be unavailable during this time.

The goal of this maintenance is for additional performance optimizations to help avoid the outages we've seen recently.
