So how exactly do you get a reward for a foundry mission these days? They took out the mission that assigns you to run one of them.

They make a wondrous mess of things. Brave amateurs, they do their part.

Simply play a foundry mission, if it qualifies you get your reward when you finish.

I say quit worrying about the material 'reward' at the end and just enjoy the d**n missions that your fellow players have created for your enjoyment.

Well, thats lovely in theory......but when the limited time I have to play pretty much requires me to be gaining either reputation marks, dilithium or EC in order to progress then a mission for no material reward will simply not be worth my time.

Absolutely plug exploints, that should go without saying, but a small amount of dilithium for playing a foundry mission is necessary if the things are to actually get played.

I don't know why people worry about that so much when you don't need any of the really dilithium-expensive top tier grind equipment to successfully play the game. You don't need t5 Romulan rep or fleet equipment to beat STFs or any of the PvE queue events.

I mean, to me it just doesn't bother me if I just spent an hour of my life not earning dilithium, as long as I enjoyed the time spent.

Yeah, I can easily brutalize the Borg with just what I get from playing story missions. The Mk11 JemHadar set is one I use a lot. Sometimes I skip the shield and just use the armor and gun. The phase shifted (anti-Devidian) shield works great as a replacement. Nanos are my favorite melee weapons. I'll often pair one with the Jem rifle. It's all "free" gear. :D And it works great!
