    Pretty sure there's a notation on the notes saying to expect placeholders in the rep items.

    The Test vendor located on DS9 is now offering a limited selection of Nukara Strike Force items for testing purposes.

    Its called a placeholder, its not the final image.
    I do this alot on websites I design to test code before I finalize it to sell.

    Yeah i freaked when i first seen the borg engine when i eqipped full nukara but then calmed down cause its just an initial generic image something till the actual image is finished or created.

    Weird the notation says MAY BE a placeholder; not that it is. Let's not say it's a placeholder until a dev confirms that it actually is - k.

    On the other hand, Cryptic has shown many times that simple copy/paste jobs or no effort at all was applied for earlier gear pieces as well ;)

    Or starbase projects for 200K dilithium, which mostly have consisted of "take existing asset, c&p onto starbase, profit".
