Space weapon question

Hey guys, not sure if I'm asking this in the right place, but what does:

"to self: - # Weapon Power when firing other weapons" mean?? I noticed its on all the space weapons.....

    It's the amount of power drained from weapons power the is used to fire the weapon. Just watch your weapons power numbers when you are fighting.

    Why does it say "other weapons"??? that s the part I dont get :(

    Because your ship can have up to 8 weapons all firing at the same time, and their damage potential is decreased due to the -10 per.

    So the first weapon used 100 power - assuming you have Weapons set at 100. The second uses 90 power -10 from the first. The third uses 80 power, and so on until you can take a break and recycle back to 100.
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    And 8ecause of this, if you run a dps 8uild, it is recommended that you try to raise your weapon systems power so that it rarely stays 8elow 100

    Also, if someone tells you that this drain does not apply to weapons of a different energy type, do not listen to them. Wash your ears out with soap, and flush out that age old piece of misinformation and attempted justification for rainbow boats.

    Indeed, it was one of the most ridiculous thing's I'd seen, but it did look good.
