I faithfully battled the many download issues to get the HUGE mega-patch on the 29th. Log in and I am VERY impressed by the graphics updates! Settle in and get ready to play some more content and ... wait ... still no access to the next story arc? Any ETA on when we might be able to start the next set of missions? There is a "Wasteland" waiting one me ...
They've said that they want to save most of the storyline for when it launches.
"They" never said any such thing. Geko stated in his LoR live playtest podcast that he expected the second half of the content to be up some time this week, but could be delayed.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.
When did they say they wanted to save it? Please link this, because everything I've seen says the exact opposite, that the next stuff will be in the beginning of May.
Which means probably during the Thursday patch, if they do one, or early next week.
To the OP, just be patient. I personally found and bugged a ton of bugs on the first few storylines, and even after the new patch went back and found a bunch more, but its better. They're probably going to do one more sweep of the bugs that are coming out now, and if they get them fixed quickly enough, and nothing is too game breaking, they'll open the new stuff up sooner then later.

And you can still level up without the rest of the episodes.
