EV suit bug

Posted 2 tickets now and no joy so figured I'd bring it up here in the hopes of getting some help.

For almost a week now I've not been able to activate an EV suit whenever I equip it. It started off as a random occurrence on Nukara and has now spread to any situation where I need an EV suit. The actual toggle to turn the suit on doesn't even show up on the screen. I've tried two different suits, can't really discard my main since its the Fed Combat one. I don't mind giving up my Nukara daily too much but I'm sitting on quite a few VIP claims still that I would like to use up.

I did some reading from past posts that said disabling visuals then re-enabling helped etc. Tried all this and nothing has worked. Any thoughts or tips appreciated!

    I've had the same issue recently as well. In the meantime while this bug hopefully gets sorted out, you can drag the "Activate Environmental Suit" power from your powers window (default P key) to your abilities tray and turn the suit on there. You can also do the same thing for "Reactive Thrusters" as well, if you need to use them.

    Guess I can live with another tray on my screen until this is sorted, thank you :)

    If it works for everybody else but not you then I would look to see if your setup differs from the majority. I dont suppose your mouse has some sort of 'autofire' function so when you are clicking it is actually clicking multiple times so turns on then off again straight afterwards?

    It's not a bug.

    On the right side of your ability tray, there is a little button that shows/hides the EV suit controls. Use it to show the controls if they're hidden.

    Huh. I never noticed the button before, and I certainly never activated it, so I don't know how the EV suit buttons were hidden to begin with, but at least I have them back now. Thanks.

    I've got one toon whose EV suit works well enough while he's mining - except that it's invisible. Looks like he's just tooling around on the surface of the asteroid in his regular uniform. I think it looks cool, but wonder sometimes if everyone else is seeing what I'm seeing, or if his suit is visible to them.

    I don't have anything out of the ordinary with my STO setup, no special controls, keybinds or anything else. I know the little toggle is there on the side of the control panel but clicking that had no effect on getting the controls back.

    In any case, since yesterdays patch I have my toggles back so I shall be curiously in the dark on this little bug, but glad it is fixed :)
