ticket 38,000 - enemy torpedoes targeting each other

Just had something weird happen. I was playing Eilhess System Patrol mission, and whenever the reman ships would fire a high yield plasma torpedo at me one of two things would happen: it would reverse itself and hit the ship that fired it or it would just target another reman ship. Obviously it only did this when there were multiple reman ships. Please note neither my character or any of my BOFFs have any kind of ability that would cause this to happen, Jam Sensors for example. I mean, yeah it helped me out, but I still don't think that's supposed to happen.
