My fleet as nearly 200 members and I'm sorry, but the 8 slots we have just isn't cutting it for our fleet's needs. It was fine as is until we hit 100 members. After we reached that milestone, we never seemed to have enough space. I don't mind you increasing the price for each additional slot. A fleet our size can afford to pay a bit more for additional space but please don't hold us to 8 slots.
The whole fleet system needs work. Not only do I feel we need more bank tabs, but more administration controls over ranks and more available ranks (7 is not enough), as well as being able to assign privileges to individual people. I'm all for supporting anything that can help fleets operate more efficiently cause even at 28 active players in our fleet right now, we've got all tabs in use and could do with more space still.

I totally agree. It would be cool that if you could make custom rank (like DCUO) and assign rights. It shouldn't be too hard.
While more space is always nice, I think if you're running out of space in the fleet bank and you already have all the slots opened, either:
1) Your fleetmates are filling it with undesirable items. Common tribbles, foods, batteries, or really almost anything a vendor sales commonly do not need to go there.
2) Your permission settings are too high. People may not be able to take enough items to match the rate at which they're being put in
3) Your fleet is so unspeakably wealthy that not only is the fleet bank stuffed full of very rare and valuable Mk XII [Acc]x3 items, lock box ships, and master keys but that everyone else is so rich they don't even bother taking the items.
That would be a great idea if STO had some kind of alliance system, where all members of the alliance can contribute to the same (alliance-held) holdings.
As it is though, anyone that moves out of the massive fleet into a new one will have to start their starbase/embassy/[3rd_holding_name] at tier 0.
I have a suspicion that with the launch of LoR I'm going to need to make some room in the fleet bank for Romulan gear.

My bet is on a mix of #1 and #2.
You know it's funny we're probably more into the 3rd option. We have a separate tab for Fleet Prizes as we run fleet events and reward members for participation or winning the event if its a Sword Fighting PVP Tournament. We've stopped allowing people to put in anything lower than very rare and have lots of supplies / samples for projects. Everything gets used regularly though and people put an equal amount in compared to what they take. Like I said in my last post, I feel the whole fleet system / interface needs a great deal of work.
I'm still irritated over the lack of controls. Not to mention there is no way to track Fleet Provisions for the Fleet Store and who uses what. So now I have to have a thread on the forums which I update daily and have members posting what provisions they use to make sure everyone gets a fair share.

I would LOVE an option (similar to fleet bank) that I can allocate fleet provisions (all 9 of them) and limit which rank can take out how much.
I agree. Just having the permission option of "Buy From Fleet Provision Store" is not enough, I'd like to have the exact same controls and information as I get with the bank. We have the first 2 ranks off limits to the store (I say 2 ranks, but the 2nd rank is for Ensign & Lt), the first one is for new cadets on their probation and the 2nd is for new full members. I'd love to be able to at least set a reasonable limit for those ranks and all ranks in fact, rather than having to open up the store or close it down when maybe someone who is new would like to buy a weapon.
You know it's the simple things that I really want in this game that seem to be such a hard concept for Cryptic. Yet if we had them, it'd make running a fleet a little easier and my time spent less with administrative stuff and actually playing the game lol

It would make running fleet easier. My old fleet had to close off the store because the lack of distribution of supplies. It is pretty rough.
I would even accept another tab that can assign how much provision a rank can purchase (like bank withdraw) the system is already there. Cryptic just need to tie to provision.
Make available twice as many total slots, my tiny tiny fleet could use more (2-3 active people and a few dormant and were still almost entirely out of space.. in space...) Dil, Zen or ECs !!!
I would love to have more fleet bank slots. More importantly, I would love to have more control on which items can be bought at the fleet store as well as a log as to who is buying what.
As for tribbles, they need a home, and a fleet bank is a nice place to keep them. :P
Most fleets I know of, at least on the fed side, are only complaining that people are using the fleet storage as a garbage dump for white and green equipment and someone has to go through every couple days and clear it out. Otherwise there's plenty of room in fleet storage for things that are actually of value, like consumables and purple mk x/xi/xii gear.
Of course, if there was some kind of filter that could be set to prevent people from depositing things like white/green equipment and tribbles it'd be a lot easier to manage.
I and a lot of players would like to see maybe a project for fleet's to make more room in fleet bank . As we all don't have the room with more and more items coming out each day most us all be happy if it was a Dilithium project to unlock more fleet bank pass

Buit yes a larger bank would be nice
Anyway, doubling the current storage per tab or adding more tabs would be awesome. Hell they could even use dilith as the fee methinks.

But with all this new tech we feel that the fleets bank could do with more room, as are fleet is filling up .
could you plzz look into it maybe making a exchange look so we have alot of room that be good:) thxs
p's a lot of fleets are saying this too
