I've often felt the game penalized you for having multiple characters. Too much work to level & gear them and make them competitive, some of which should be account-wide.

The per character 14-time awards associated with the Crytalline Entity however were thoughtful to long-timers since they are quite generous, thanks.

I agree. I have 5 Feds & 1 Kling. Only 3 jave really gotten any attention. Heck my non-main engineer is still runing ultta rare MK VI impulse with common MK X stock phasers.

all 9 of my tonns are upto 12 shards each, so 2 more days of this menagerie and im finally freed :P along with 450k of dilithium. now its just a matter of when the market is at its best .

Cryptic really needs to think 3-Dimensionally (people with multiple characters).


But I'm really not complaining when it comes to the CE event. People with multiple characters really make off like a bandit. If we endure the pains of doing the CE 6,10, 20 times, we come away with 1,000 Fleet Marks and 50,000 Dilithium per character. And endure another week to get a little more.

For me, this is a blessing since my fleets are currenly in the process of upgrading and this will really save time and resources.

I'm running the crystalline mission on 8 toons and I can't wait for it to be over! I will never kill it again after that! 112 times on the same mission is really grindy even by this games standards. But, the rewards were too sexy to pass up. I had to stop at 8 toons and leave my last 2 toons out of the fun. I've had a few late nights already getting all those shards! Interesting how a game can get you to put in "work" in order to fund your fun. Maybe I'm just a hopeless altaholic, but I'll be one with lots of dilithium in a couple more days.

Yeah, I've got 5 characters I run through it daily. Well, it was just 4 for the first few days because I was planning on deleting one to make a Romulan when LoR is released but then I was like "Wait, why am I passing up 50k dil and 1k FM?" so now I'll be running that one character for another 4 days after the rest are done.

btw. how many days are left? i am at like 3 - 5 shards so far... really couldn't be bothered so far to run it with my 10 characters for 140 times.

5 shards, your on the 23rd which gives approx 10 days (dependent on when cryptic takes the event down on the 10th day) you will make it through however the one toon with 3 shards will not and should be abandoned. you need 14 shards and you started 3 days ago with one toon which equals 13 days (20 hour cooldown on event for you each day), you will be one short.

I hope they will make the event last longer for a week because I started too late (I should check my mails more often). They did it in the winter event too so I really really hope they will push the end date forward.
