I've been messing around with the Romulan stuff since I got my closed beta invite on Friday night.
Very excited and these missions are pretty good! The graphic are extremely well done and the generous use of cut scenes offers a very enjoyable play experience for me. I'm sure new and returning folks will enjoy this expansion a lot!
I found a couple of things that you may wish to look into.
Firstly the tutorial help popup boxes. There is no way to move them, nor is there a way to shut them off, further when I select "do not display future popups" they still keep coming. Trouble is, they appear right in middle of the screen practically, and can get in the way of normal game play.
Is there a way to turn off the box and/or have them remain off when the do not show radio button is toggled on.
Secondly, the character select screen is AMAZING! To me, this is a great improvement. It's as if my character is in a movie poster.
Trouble, is the ship overhead appears too large (Here's a pic notice how the ship is cut off by the screen boundary?). It would be awesome if you could either lower the ship further down the background or reduce the size. Further, would be nice to see the forward port dorsal view rather than the forward port ventral view.
Anyway.
Kudos on some great work! Can't wait to see the other misisons for the Rommies.
