Train officers

As a Romulan Tactical captain I cannot train my BOFFs. I have put 6 points in Starship Energy Weapons (should unlock FAW3 & CRF3) and 6 points in Grenades (should unlock Photon Grenade 3 & Stun Grenade 1). However the button "Train Officer" stays greyed out, as well as the "Train" option on the BOFF menu. This was submitted as bug id #36,892.

Do you have an allied boff of the right job that you've tried to train? I wonder if this is related to all the other boff flags that haven't been set for that initial set of Romulan boffs - stay in station, set department heads, show ground combat ability, purchase(!) - or maybe it's due to that they're distinct characters in the storyline, and are fixed.

I can train them just fine by going to the BOFF trainer on New Romulus. However I cannot train any of my captain abilities (the ones that the BOFF trainer can't train, like FAW3). When you open the status window and select your captain, there is a button "Train Officer", which is disabled.

I even went as far as replacing one officer with a Gorn Engineer and he could not train in the Flotilla .. on the other hand the Romulan BOffs could not train in Qo'Nos. which i think is intentional right now however i could do the path to 2409 daily in the Klingon Academy for 2 data chips. I reached level 30 and since the D'Deridex is still locked i loaded up my Kamarang with mark 7 gear that i could get my hands on and went to town.. was even awarded a purple quality Reman engineering boff named ENGINEERING OFFICER,

one other small bug.. on my Kamarang Bridge.. there were none of my BOFFS.. just klink stand ins.. can i get a stick up or a air freshener pine tree for my viewscreen so my BOFFS get back to the bridge..
