Chat window disappearing UI

Almost after every cutscene my chat box will disappear. It won't minimize, just disappear. It comes back after about 5 or so seconds. This sometimes happens when I warp into system space also.

    Happens to me like you said as well as every time I change to a different map. The chat window is gone but comes up after a few seconds.

    fastest way to fix this is double tap Escape or menu if it seems to take forever to come back.
