Thank you Cryptic for the chance to test during the Closed Beta Test for Legacy of Romulus. I must say that I am impressed with that you have done with the game thus far. I?m hoping that LoR is the first of many updates that will start to bring the fun back to Star Trek Online. Here is what I have found thus far while playing.
The user interface updates are great. They add in a new level of emersion to the game. I especially like the blinking UI when you enter Red Alert. However, I feel that the Romulans Red Alert should be Alert status, and the color be Green, and not red. Humans have made the color ?Red? to be a danger color because it is the color of our blood. Romulans, however, have green blood. According to the book series based in the Enterprise era of Star Trek, The Romulan War Series, Consoles for the Romulans would flash a deep emerald green when something was going to blow up. I do realize that within the TV series, they did use Red for the Alert status, but I do not agree with it. This is just a suggestion on my part.
I have noticed that when you are cloaked, and then enter a dialog within a mission, your ship will decloak. Is this intentional? I thought there was an issue with this on the Klingon side as well, and was addressed and fixed.
When logging into the game, it seems slower than it should be getting through the opening splash screen (which is nicely done). It feels like it takes 10 minutes just to get through the ?Legacy of Romulus? splash screen.
I believe I have found a grammatical error within the mission ?Crossroads at Crateris?, at the part ?Trust Issues? where you speak with Z?den. The line is this: ?Obviously something is going on, but I?m not the one to be order an evacuation?. I believe that changing to order to ordering would make it sound better. Also during ?Crossroads at Crateris? during the ?Defeat Monbosh Battleship?, the alien ship would reset it?s shield rating. When doing this mission it took me 20 minutes to even make any damage to the ship. Once the damage started to take effect, it took me another 15 minutes to take it down.
When you beam onto Gasko station, the spawn marker is too close to the wall. One of my bridge officers beamed into the wall, and ended up getting stuck.
On the Romulan flotilla, in the forward observation deck, where you speak with D?tan, there are two computer panels that have the Romulan insignia on it, but they are upside down. Something you might want to take a look at.
With all this being said, I do have to say that I like what I am seeing so far. Keep up the great work. You?re bringing fun back to STO.

This issue is STILL present on the Klingon side. Scanning and activating dialogue boxes still de-cloak you. Not sure if WAI or if it's a bug. However, maybe now it will be fixed.
Sorry if this is out of place but I couldn't find a spot to post things regarding general issues I've noticed. The very first thing that stood out to me right away is the speed at which the intro text flew by when first starting a Romulan Character. Unless you are a very fast reader you can barely get a few words read before its on to the next.

It also affects the Dreadnought Cruiser and Tactical Escort Retrofit, so it's not a Klingon-exclusive problem. It's just more apparent to Klingons because their ships have universal cloaking devices.
The problem is that Cryptic have switched up whether this is a bug or WAI.
When it first starting happening it was a bug, later they reclassified it to working as intended due to the fact that if people remained cloaked during certain communications they would break some sequences.
They also said in the same post that they were switching most of the dialogue boxes that only popped up and had no communication options other than to acknowledge with flybys which didn't interfere with cloaks.
