No promotion & no thank you mission

I have been unable to complete the promotion to Sub-Commander mission. I also have been unable to acquire the thank you mission. I have reached level 22 but I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

    Already a thread on the top of the first page of this forum concerning the promotion bug. Can't help you on the other problem.

    I'm thinking the "thank you Mission" is just a place holder since we can't go any further on missions
