Romulan Flotilla - Where's the Exchange

I know that the Exchange isn't active on Tribble, but I can't find the Exchange console on the Romulan Flotilla. Am I just missing it, or it's not supposed to the there?

I think that was intentional until you've unlocked your faction.

The exchange terminal is at New Romulus Command.

There are two in the Rotunda of NRC. They face the Transporter room.

wile this is true people where buying faction specific boxes off the exchange and when opened nothing would appear eating there EC. it was probably disabled for that reason

Is there a reason why all of the amenities can't be added to the flotilla? I'd rather go there than to the Command Center on New Romulus to be honest.

Do feel that Romulan Flotilla and New Romulus Command so close together is overkill. In the same sector block, and RF is lacking functions. It's probably going to be a ghost town.

Well, there's a lot of precedent for redundant social zones.... ESD and Vulcan/Andoria, Memory Alpha and SB 39....

It's a story driven location choice, not a gameplay one. that being said adding services inside a Suliban Helix social zone would rock.

i do agree though the flotilla should have an exchange on it. it use to before the last patch

At low level when you go at warp 5, they aren't that close :P

Really, every one of the social zone/home base type maps should have exchange, mail and bank access at the least and a shipyard area.

Stuff like crafting respecs and bridge officer sales and trainers are nice to have, but at the very least you need to be able to change your ship and move stuff around.

True, and it's much further apart then DS9 and Bajor are, and both of them have exchanges as well.

The other issue to look at is, as an experienced player, I can always just buy from the exchange with another character, and using my account bank ship it over. As a new player looking to find a decent mk2 dual plasma bank for example, I don't know to look at New Romulus command, I'm looking at what they gave me, which is the flotilla.

Of course, the problem with my above arguement, is that no new player can afford to buy anything on the exchange, given the huge prices that are being charged there.

Serious, there are many ways to circumvent without even bother with the exchange, you can mail it to yourself, you can trade it with another player, you can put it on share bank ... there is exactly zero reason to lock away the exchange until you make a decision, they already stated that you CANNOT use a Temporal ship or a Mirror so a check is already in place, these checks WILL have to be in the game because nothing stops anyone from using their shared bank or mail something that is "faction specific" (pretty much only Lobi outfits and the console box) anyway making the whole argument rather ... well not exactly valid.

the second post i made i agreed that the exchange should be brought back to the flotilla and it was a silly move
