What happened to the EPtAux graphic effect?

I remember the Emergency Power to Auxiliary had a cool blue effect. I loved it, but unfortunately the ability was not worth taking, so now with the buff, I equipped it again, but the graphic effect is gone *?*

A blue hull effect, rotating "atom" rings, glow and fog. Now that is how I would like to fly my awesome science ships. Fear to blue buffed super science abilities!
