After looking at the updated KDF mission journal on Tribble, it seems we will finally have as much story based content as the other factions. Are the dark days finally past?

    I thought the 'dark age' for the Defense Force is because an imbalance of gameplay content?
    Not exactly story content, devtracker, I believe- which has already known to be in the works.

    Well, thats really what I mean. Whether you care about the story or not, the KDF is getting a ton of new episodes/missions, as you can see in the new journal on Tribble.

    Trouble is, it looks like a large chunk of it is copy pasted fed stuff. Even down to sticking up one of the more horrible Patrol missions with a slightly different ending.

    I'd like to be wrong, as I'm only basing this on some video reviews I've seen, but...

    I mean there really wasn't 'anything made' from the looks of things, devtracker.
    Just edited content for the federation faction which may or may not make sense to us.
    Plus, this is hardly anything substantial as an update- there still needs balance.

    Not that I'm appreciative of extra story content mind you or being able to go from 1-20..
    It just seems like Cryptic are dodging the bullet when Dan Stahl said this quote exactly:

    "There will be new Klingon specific content in Season 8 along with a bunch of other stuff."

    I am quite happy and do think the content missing from the faction is finally being resolved, copy/paste or not.
    It would be awesome and really show they care if said c/p is rewritten enough to give it a KDF factional sound to it.

    I think you are wrong, the copy/paste stuff starts after each faction has done their exclusive mission content plus the Romulan FE, that?s how DStahl explained it. :)

    I agree with Roach.

    Heck, it's been suggested many-a-time in this forum that they should've done it long ago. So really it's more that it's 'about time' then anything else.

    I'd be a bit happier if we got some more "air time" - more advertizing to prospective players the fact that for the first time, there will be a FULL KDF faction to play, too, in addition to the Romulans (and Feds).

    But all in all, I'm pleased at the fact we're finally getting content - even copy/paste (though I do hope some more writing is planned to make a more cohesive view of the war from our point of view is underway)

    It seems that we are. Even though it also seems quite confusing. I never know which mission to take or should I just do the entire game over again.
    Should I start posting again after all this time?
